This movie deserves higher rating.

This movie started off with a boy with a dream to build a rocket, and finished off in fireworks. It was wonderful, heartwarming, and even brought a tear to my eyes. It's worth your time, and it's a blast.

Very warm, somewhat nostalgic, and very motivating movie. It’s 10/10 for me.

Based on a true story about four boys hoping to escape a life working the mines by winning a science fair and thus a scholarship. The relationship between father and son is ppwerful. The film has some slow and some predictable bits but it tugged at the heartstrings enough that I might rewatch it one day.

October sky is a heart warming blast of a movie. This movie will always be personal to me. After watching Hidden Figures with my grandma she wanted me to watch October Sky and The Right Stuff so I will. I was delightfully surprised at how great it was. The plot is great it consistently is entertaining and well paced. This is one of the better bio pics I’ve seen the drama is great and the rocket testings are fun to watch. The acting is very good it’s weird to see Jake Gyllenhaal so young. It’s directed very well by Joe Johnson. The cinematography is good as well as the soundtrack. It’s a very inspiring and uplifting movie. The ending is really beautiful. Overall it’s a beautiful and fun bio pic that I’ll never forget, I highly recommend to watch this. ( 8 out of 10)
