Watch this! It is an accurate portrayal (finally!) of the life of real people in Nigeria. And the filmmaking is not Nollywood, rather it's the quality of good independent films. This is not about silly Western-style people and their private school disagreements, but about the normal people you would find in the marketplace and their struggles with real estate "developers," the common enemy of good people around the world. The statistics at the end of the film listing communities from 1973 to 2024 whose homes have been destroyed are truly shocking. Many of those years, there were 4-5 communities destroyed, with 1000 to as many as 800,000 people left homeless, and that's just around Lagos and 3 other areas of Nigeria (the vast majority were around Lagos).
