Fwiw, this is on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flnExDWx2V4 It's not the greatest movie ever, but it is about one of New Zealands greatest disasters, and something many kiwis seem unaware off. Tangiwai: A Love Story is very focused on a single couple, and doesn't really explore the broader event. The acting is solid enough (not brilliant) the tv budget for this movie didn't allow for great special effects (and the filming was very dark, which may have saved money, but didn't improve the viewing experience) Overall, I viewed watching this almost as remembrance (for an event that occurred before my life) and would encourage other kiwis to check it out. But I doubt if it would be of any interest to other parts of the world
