The year 2003 being the year I got my motorcycle endorsement and purchased my first bike, was also the same year this movie came out and my riding friends and I snatched it up on DVD as soon as it was on the shelf. I'm telling you that 20 year old me was fascinated with this movie and everything about it. At the time, there was nothing else like it. Fast forward to today. I'm 40 now, still riding but a bit wiser. This is an exploitation film, nothing more, nothing less. The riding, racing and "M.C." dynamics are mostly fantasy. They race on a dirt road on sport bikes, ATVs are apparently allowed on public roads and in a "motorcycle club". Nevermind the story. It's boring and forced. I can easily check my brain at the door for most things, but not this. It's just so bad and it's taken me 20 years to realize it.
