This is one of those movies I loved as a child, but I haven't watched it in what must be 15 years or more and I'm not going to lie, I was hesitant to do so because I hadn't had a lot of luck with revisiting childhood favourites. (I'm looking at you, The NeverEnding Story!) _However_, this was so much fun, also a lot darker than I remembered, but I guess as a child the funny bits are more important anyway. Since I grew up with a St. Bernard this brought back so many great memories as well! :smiling_face_with_3_hearts: Honestly, I would happily watch this movie again and again.

There is so much slobber in this movie that it feels like I might drown in it. And I still love it so much.

A light comedy that lives of the lovable clumsy dog. It is a great movie for kids and for adults that can embrace the comic-like story and characters. Good family entertainment without further ambitions.
