Synopsis
Tout va mal pour nos deux héros. S’il ne veut pas finir en prison, Jack le flic, doit trouver rapidement le dangereux malfrat Iceman. Quant à Reggie, le voyou, il finit un séjour derrière les barreaux. Et Iceman a mis sa tête à prix. Pour preuve, l’autobus qui l’éloigne du pénitencier est attaqué et fait dix‐sept tonneaux avant de s’arrêter. A contrecoeur, Reggie s’allie à Jack pour 48 heures de plus…

its been a while since i watched both of the 48hrs films...on reflection i think Eddie Murphy is funnier in the sequel

Better than I remembered. Great cast of 80's heavies and moves along quickly. Not quite as good as the original but then again, few are.

A solid second part that is still good entertainment. Unfortunately, like ever so often, 4 times the budget is spend on not strictly required action scenes, leaving less time for a decent story. Still Ok, but the first was definitely better.
