This time the story follows a group that goes on a Blair Witch tour in the Black Hills Forrest and experience a time loss, and then try to figure out what happened to them. The found footage style is abandoned, and instead labels itself as a “re-enactment” of real events. But the story is little more than that of a stereotypical horror film, and makes little to no sense. Something is trying to be said about the reality of film, but it’s lost in the convoluted and inept storytelling. _Book of Secrets: Blair Witch 2_ is an uninspired piece of garbage with no scares or suspense.

> The gene pool is a little shallow here. Dive in and you'll crack your skull open. To be honest, I found the initial plot quite interesting, but it quickly turns into something even worse than its reputation suggests. I'm genuinely shocked by how bad this movie is. lt's bizarre.

This is almost a movie, has some cool ideas even, but every time I give it a chance it hurts me.

> "The gene pool is a little shallow here. Dive in and you'll crack your skull open." I have two minds about this. First, crazy that as a sequel they didn't continue the same format of found footage. Second, if this were a standalone movie about supernatural activity it is actaully pretty good on it's own. I think being related to Blair Witch weakens it.
