What it scored so low? I liked it!

Ah, the superhero movie of my childhood.

The gay subtext is not so...sub.

I rewatched this with some nostalgia lenses and while it is cheesy, it does still hold up as a teen hero movie. Whoever casted this knew what was up because some of these actors are well known today. Could totally see this getting a sequel 25 years later.
