[Filmin] An excellent overview of the films of two filmmakers who, in the words of Martin Scorsese, represented a notable influence on the cinema of the new generation of filmmakers who emerged in the seventies. There is an extraordinary editing that knows how to point out Scorsese's words as a narrator, and the references to the sequences of his own films in which he recognizes influences from the films of Powell & Pressburger are surprising. Iit is striking to note that these two artists expressed their genius when they had greater freedom, but the film industry gave them few moments of that freedom. And they were almost forgotten.
