Snoop Dogg is not a great actor, nor a good one, and probably not even a mediocre one. And yet he has enough charisma to pull it off in a movie like “Bones,” especially as the role of gangster Jimmy Bones is tailor-made for him, and he was obviously eager to play it. Another plus point for me is that director Ernest R. Dickerson came up with some creative ideas, and some of the effects are really well done. And I always enjoy seeing Katharine Isabelle. However, the look of the movie isn't exactly pretty in some places, and it also exudes a bit of a trash vibe. And especially in the middle, it has a few lengths. But I was expecting a much worse movie and was pleasantly surprised overall.
