Very beautiful film. Emotional and political. Loved the parallels going throughout the movie with Lillia‘s present and past.

[Berlinale '26] The protagonist's journey of acceptance is narrated with particular delicacy, yet simultaneously conveying the rebellion inherent in assimilating her own sexual identity. It also offers a reflective look at the discriminatory attitudes surrounding the visibility of lesbian relationships in a country like Tunisia, where homosexuality is punishable by imprisonment. The film achieves a subtle and moving quality while proclaiming rebellion as a form of personal emancipation, through the women of a family who, in one way or another, claim their space and their own decisions.
