[JFF '23] The director abandons his usual portraits of marginal characters wrapped in dark humor and b/w photography to offer an absurd comedy in bright colors that reference the Kraftwerk aesthetic and follow the influence of "Leningrad cowboys go to America" (1989). Described by the director as a silly, ridiculous and fun film, it manages to be all three, which has merit. As an independent film, the director uses the obvious lack of budget as a comic resource, dwells too long on static performances and gets the characters to transmit affectivity from their lack of charisma.
