Synopsis
Satyricon présente une société romaine en pleine décadence, où orgies et autres festins sont courants, la morale y étant absente. Loin des reconstitutions historiques et autres péplums, Federico Fellini nous raconte les pérégrinations de deux jeunes parasites de l'époque néronienne, Encolpe et Ascylte.

How the winds of fate toss us hither and wither! Though this film has very little to do with the underlying work, it captures this sense, it connects us with the immortal and mythical reality that is eternal.

This movie is a VISION, that's for sure. It's a wild, insane, nearly psychedelic trip through the Roman underworld and I'll be darned if I understand what it all meant but it was really quite something to look at.
