Am I your worst client ever, Ashraf? ~~Maybe~~ Yes.
Another shit movie from some Progressive that's clueless. There is no movie. It goes nowhere and does nothing
This is a pretty unique concept for a movie, and I think it makes it fairly engaging even if the spy thriller trappings are slightly misleading. Riz Ahmed is fun to watch, and Sam Worthington and Willa Fitzgerald are always great antagonists. The movie does somewhat play its hand, but it wants to keep its secrets which leads to a few sequences at the end not making a ton of sense narratively until later on. I feel like with some better editing, the last 1/3rd of the movie could have been made clearer without losing the ending punch. I feel like the movie does try to give Ahmed's character some depth, but that was also not exactly the strongest aspect of this movie. It works best when it showcases the clever ways his character tries to interact with both sides without losing his anonymity. Solid movie.
Overall it's a good thriller, but the plot twist feels a little forced.
