Alright, I gotta admit that I did *not* like this movie when I begrudgingly saw it in theaters in 2004, but now that I'm closer to 40 than I was 20 back then, this hits a hell of a lot different. I've lost so many childhood friends to death in that time and the overall "thesis" -- I guess you could tall it that -- of this movie hits a lot ***stronger*** with those experiences in my past. I used to think casting Seth Green as the anal straight man was a terrible miscasting because he's always been good at the absurd, over-the-top characters who usually require a straight man of their own to keep them reigned in, but he totally makes the hypochondriac anxious mess *work!* Kinda wish I hadn't waited another 20 years to rewatch this, because it's a hell of a lot more entertaining now than it was when I was 18.

> "What happens in the cave stays in the cave." This feels very 2004, and I think that is a good thing. It is a typical buddy road trip adventure that has a few good jokes and a very silly premise. I think if it were any other actors it would've fell flat on its face but these 3 do have some chemistry that make even the dumb moments work.

Trio adventure comedy that casted a perfect recipe and provides chuckles. Quotable, endearing and fun. Plus Suplee and Reynolds.

This will always be one of my favorite movies. Call it nostalgia but I still laugh my ass off start to finish.
