The Hunted is a decent action flick. The characters are thin and the story doesn’t grow beyond its premise, but the hand-to-hand combat is physical and exciting. It clearly borrows from The Fugitive, yet never reaches that film’s level of tension or narrative control. Still, Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio del Toro are consistently entertaining.

The pupil has turned out to be unruly.

The low score for The Hunted is baffling to me; I've always loved this movie. It's basically another attempt to recapture the magic of The Fugitive, but I genuinely like it even better than that film. It's brutal, moves swiftly, and I particularly enjoy the dynamic between Benicio del Toro and Tommy Lee Jones.
