The best thing about this film was the teaser that came out last year!!

#thuglife Technically (Acting, background score, visuals, songs) strong movie. However, it fails to provide a complete entertainer. Movie has decent start, but at the end of the film it doesn't have anything to talk about. Conclusion: it is a Mani Ratnam film, but not **MANI RATNAM** film.

#ThugLife – To be honest, the entire cast and crew remained loyal and gave their everything to the film ♥ #KamalHaasan truly pulled off a very different, innocent, and cute avatar as Rangaraya Sakthivel Naicker especially in the 1st half. #STR's aura was insane 🔥🔥🔥 His performance, body language absolutely top-notch. He delivered a superb, powerful performance and genuinely tried to elevate and save the film. #Trisha did justice to her multi-dimensional, alluring, and seductive role. Alongside her, #Abirami, #JojuGeorge, #Nasser, and #Sanjana also did complete justice to their individual roles. Even #ARRahman delivered musical experience & DOP Ravi K. Chandran provided a unique cinematographic ambiance. Technically, it’s as good as expected.
