Twenty years ago they could make a movie about a black boxer who was put in jail with fabricated evidence for reason that were clearly racist. But they could do it without slapping it into your face every ten minutes and drilling in a message with a sledgehammer. This is a great movie and Denzel's performance was Oscar worthy.

Brilliant movie. I have to review my opinion on Denzel Washington : I never thought that Denzel Washington was capable to deliver such a performance.

Now that was worth my time and some great acting from Denzel Washington as always. It’s definitely well made. A strong film. I’m glad the guy it was based on was set free. If love doesn’t get you out, then I’m going to bust you out. ha
