The their Star Wars was already quirky with the Ewok’s, so why push it further with another mediocre movie.

This movie was awesome. I feared it wouldn’t hold up, but it was even better than I remember as a child. It’s a Star Wars story but also a mythic story and it pulls no punches. Cindel gets thrown into the fire, but she finds friends and makes her way. I wish they would make more Star Wars stories like this. Not every story has to be about the fate of the entire universe. Sometimes a little girl and an Ewok are enough.
