With references to the classic horror movies of the 40s, the film adopts a certain theatricality, especially in some characters like Lt. Turner, as if it didn't take itself too seriously, but striking the right balance so as not to fall into the parody. With resources well used, there is an inconsistency in the script that seems to remain on the superficiality without really having much to say. But some technical aspects such as the soundtrack that revels in the incorporation of strange sounds and is reflected in the scores of the horror genre of the 40s, make the film especially enjoyable.
