Marisol Nichols and Kristoffer Polaha star in the Hallmark holiday film _We Wish You a Married Christmas_. The story follows an estranged married couple whose marriage counselor sends them to a small town for a holiday getaway while their apartment is being remodeled. Unfortunately the writing’s not very good, as the plot seems extremely contrived and the characters are all one-dimensional stereotypes. And the comedy, while it delivers a few laughs, is pretty weak. _We Wish You a Married Christmas_ is a formulaic and trite film that doesn’t work.

I expected more from this cast.

A great cast for sure but they couldn't make up for the fact that the story was a bit of a snoozefest
