I’m sorry, but what heck happened in season 8. This was horrible... never thought I’d say that about Rick and Morty..
Well I hoped season 8 would be good after season 7, which was in my opinion one of the best seasons, but so far till the 6th episode it's a snooze fest. The episodes are not bad in particular bu there is nothing special about any of them. Maybe it is time Justin Roiland returned to the series.

I watched all 10 episodes of Season 8 and really enjoyed the ride. The writing felt fresh, the humor was sharp, and the character dynamics kept evolving in interesting ways. Most episodes were consistently strong—I ended up rating the majority of them an 8 out of 10. A solid season that shows the series still has creative fuel left.
So, it's pretty clear that they are sabotaging the series to get back the groomer/wife beater. That, or the people who are left are completely worthless as writers and should be fired regardless.
