A survival story about a search party that battles against monstrous creatures. It will highlight the heartwarming bond between the members of the search party as they struggle to escape the demilitarized zone together. The story begins as a military dog handler who’s only a month away from his discharge date gets seconded to the search party and encounters a monster in the demilitarized zone.

==The most disappointing drama of the year? Yeah probably!== If you see the cast you'll probably say gosh I'm going to watch this without any doubt! Well... you may think twice! [spoiler] The fail start, as usual, with the script, it is the first time for Goo Mo to write something for television and you can tell because this could've been better for a short format, maybe 3 episodes, or a movie, the characters weren't developed at all and neither the story, the set up is in two places and that's it, every episode they go to de DM zone and comeback to the village and every epiosde repeated the same, the flashbacks were always the same ones, the secondary characters were almost unnecesary because they didn't bring anything to the main plot and none of them even had their own story, for example with Gyhyeong's marriage, a multiple times they talk about that but that's all! This may be just my feeling but I didn't get anything from any of the actors and I know how good are all of them so I'm going to blame again the script, anyways hoping (cross fingers) a second season for this drama to get the redemption it deserves.[/spoiler] My score: 6.5/10
Can't believe this is rated so low ; as someone who doesn't have much stomach for thrillers this show has enough thriller , revenge , comedy and romantic-sparks considering the backdrop and the timeline of the story. Although at times the logic of writers is scornful and predictable ; you will still accept the progression of the plot. Both Krystal and Dong-Yoon has performed well and I blame the writers for not adding more interactions between them and their history would have definitely made the story more interesting . Krystal only seems to choose roles in uniform that need no romance and this suits her well. Special mention to Da-Yeon and he reunion with Dong-Yoon after Tale of Nokdu ! Also Yoon Park and Yoo Seung-Joo really made us hate them. Also loved the banter from the maknae under Dong-jin . RIP Leo and Maek is an angel and smarter than the writers and other cast ! Just give it a try! you will like but definitely not disappointed
