It's a beautiful day in Hell.
In attempt to find a non-violent alternative for reducing Hell's overpopulation, the daughter of Lucifer opens a rehabilitation hotel that offers a group of misfit demons a chance at redemption.

This show lost me when they started singing. Also the voice actors don’t really vibe together at all. The art style is the best part hands down, but the background is too noisy, you lose track of the characters s lot.
Oh my goodness this show is phenomenal! Episode 4 shook me to the core, what an emotional roller-coaster!
I knew this wouldn't be the pinnacle of sophistication, but even with low expectations I was disappointed. It's presented as an animated show for a mature audience, but the only thing "mature" about it is the frequency of the word "fuck" and sex jokes. Imagine the cringe jokes you told as a little kid at sleepovers, emboldened to slip in a few curse words when the parents went to sleep. That's basically this show. A teenage mind trying waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard to be "edgy". My ideal animated show for a mature audience would be something like early Rick & Morty seasons where they integrated deep and mature concepts, also witty humor that went beyond slapstick comedy. Then the later seasons tried to cater to a larger audience, and it devolved into shock humor like the whole episode about horse semen. Hazbin Hotel reminds me of the later seasons of Rick and Morty, but even worse, and with more spontaneous singing.
Who is the target audience for this show? Morons? It's too vulgar to be a show for kids, but it's too immature to be a show for adults. I suppose it's a show for the "has been"s. The people who peaked in high school and never matured. The people who work at Wendy's.
DNF after 2 episodes. I really wanted to love it but I could not connect with the stories, characters, dialogue, animation style (except for the opening intro). The only thing I loved about this show was the songs. I'm not prepared to sit through 22 minutes of each episode for the one or two songs. I'll go and listen to the soundtrack instead.
