Season 1 was great. Season 2 is a mess. I'm really disappointed because I was looking forward to a new season.
[HBO Max] Redefinition of the romantic comedy that talks about love from a look towards heartbreak, more balanced in S1 than in S2, but more defined in the couple's relationship in S2 than in S1. 10-minute dialogues that have the imprint of a writer like Nick Hornby who knows how to handle irony and a director like Stephen Frears who keeps the pacing of what is basically a 100-minute conversation.
Season 1 is very good, but everything outside of the last 2 episodes of season 2 is poor.
