Rue is offered a risky deal that draws her deeper into Alamo's world. While Nate battles the city council, Maddy gives Cassie a mission that could skyrocket her new career, and Lexi enlists Jules to create an original painting for LA Nights.

Honestly, it's a lot of nothing burger. Except for Maddy?
Well, the first at least decent episode so far. However, what surprises me most is how all the characters are so empty and shallow. Maybe it’s a critique of all the vulgarity, but it’s done in such a superficial way just for shock value. Take Jules, for example—couldn't she just paint a normal picture? The only seemingly sincere line here is Lexi’s; she seems to be the only one who realizes how lost everyone is, as if they haven't evolved at all since high school. This show has lost the beauty it once had; apparently, it’s just a shallow and vulgar critique of society.
I know it’s a fault of the script but as Zendaya was on the top of her skills in previous seasons, here she’s nothing more than: 😆/😐.
The characters remain teenagers playing at being adults, with zero growth since the previous seasons.
Most of these people need to get real jobs. Maybe go to law school, Rue? Cassie, would it hurt you to stock shelves at Target? Nate would make a great bartender or personal trainer.
