Just when you thought you knew what to expect from RuPaul’s Drag Race, along comes the ferociously fabulous and funny Season Six, with enough tricks up its silk chiffon sleeve to keep you on your painted toes! This crop of queens is our most diverse yet, from seasoned pros, to an international drag star, to a former American Idol contestant, and even some fresh-faced ingénue queens who were inspired to be drag performers by watching Season One of RuPaul’s Drag Race! That’s one leggy legacy. Have we mentioned that these boys are hot? Because they are. Have we mentioned they make even hotter women? Because they do.

The queens are challenged to create party-themed couture for a runway face-off. With guest judge Khloe Kardashian.
Scream Queens
The queens put the "fear" in "fierce" as they act in a drag horror movie franchise. With guest judges Lena Headey (Game Of Thrones) and Linda Blair (The Exorcist).
Shade: The Rusical
The queens enter the world of musical theater. With guest judges composer Lucian Piane, and Sheryl Lee Ralph (Dream Girls).
Snatch Game
The queens impersonate celebrities in a quick-witted TV game show. With guest judges Gillian Jacobs (Community) and Heather McDonald (Chelsea Lately).
Oh No She Betta Don't
The queens are challenged to rap in a TLC-inspired 90s music video. Rap superstars Eve and Trina guest judge.
Glamazon By Colorevolution
The queens book a big cosmetics gig, selling RuPaul's new makeup line. With guest judges Leah Remini (The King of Queens) and Lainie Kazan (My Big Fat Greek Wedding).
Drag Queens of Comedy
The queens must write and perform a stand-up comedy routine in front of a live audience. With guest judges Jaime Pressly (My Name Is Earl) and comedy writer Bruce Vilanch.
Queens of Talk
The queens host their very own talk show. With guest judges Paula Abdul, Chaz Bono, and singer (and Cher's mom) Georgia Holt.
Drag My Wedding
The queens give blushing brides drag makeovers, before RuPaul officiates their weddings. With guest judges Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and his fiancé David Burtka.
Glitter Ball
The queens compete in a pageant of jewelry inspired couture. Guest judges Khloe Kardashian and legendary designer Bob Mackie return.
Sissy That Walk
The queens compete in their final challenge - starring in the music video for RuPaul's hit "Sissy That Walk." With special guests Jamal Sims and Mathu Andersen.
Countdown To The Crown
A look back on the highlights, low-lights, and previously unseen footage as we race toward the climactic crowning of America's Next Drag Superstar.
Grand Finale
Wigs fly as the queens return to discuss the drama of the season. Plus, both "America's Next Drag Superstar" and "Miss Congeniality" are crowned.

8/10 The show fires on all cylinders this season, with one of the best casts of the whole series, a good winner and several of the show's most entertaining challenges - a terrific homage to 60s and 80s horror movies, one of the show's stronger Snatch Games, and a top-tier makeover challenge with a wedding twist. The only thing holding it back from being truly one of the best seasons is that at this point it's all starting to feel a little overproduced. Some pretty shameless editing is used to justify eliminating certain queens or painting them in a positive or negative light, and much like in the previous season, we get at least one well-known queen coasting to the tail end of the season on their fame alone. It's a strong season in spite of those issues, and easily the best since season two, but looking back on it now, the shift in direction in season seven does make a lot of sense as the show tried to course-correct.
