Maya, the young communications director for a New York senatorial campaign, receives a wedding invitation from her college schoolmate now living in London. She leaves her professional and personal life behind, in favor of traveling to England and reconnecting with old friends and ends up in the midst of their personal crises. Relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused, and of course, there are four weddings…and a funeral.

This took me forever to get through. I think I'm rating this so high because the cast was really super charming. While the timeline's not terrible per se (because time does pass by and thus relationships strengthen or break and it seems natural), it's just a lot of back and forth between the couples to be enjoyable to me. That said, it's still a solid miniseries that has as much charm as the original movie. Some characters will do it for you and others won't but based on merit, it's still worth watching if you're in a Love Actually meet Friends mood.
Was the Bridgerton before Bridgerton. But the movie was better imo. Still, this is worth the watch.
Surprisingly charming, with an engaging mixture of characters. In that sense it mirrors its namesake film.
I pretty much enjoyed every episode for this show, I found a couple of holes in the plot but I am sure they were intentionally left there. I enjoy the story and setting of the show very much I noticed it said this show is based off of a movie so I might give that a go next.
