After a very brief stint as a full-blown vampire, Guillermo is re-evaluating his life. Who is he if not a familiar who will do anything to please his Master in hopes of one day being turned into a vampire? Meanwhile, the vampires are reevaluating, too. When their former roommate reappears after a 50-year nap, they realize how little they’ve done in half a century — not one goal accomplished, not one dream pursued, not one part of the New World conquered (except for their street and part of Ashley Street).
The Return of Jerry
The vampires' long-lost fifth roommate returns.
Headhunting
Guillermo gets a new job, and Colin helps Laszlo make a new friend.
Sleep Hypnosis
A dispute over who gets to use the newly available empty room under the stairs gets out of control.
The Railroad
Laszlo and Colin help neighbor Sean find a new job at the railroad at which they claim to work.
Nandor's Army
The vampires are sent on a mission to New Hampshire to retrieve Nandor, who has lost his mind.
Laszlo's Father
Laszlo's father's ghost returns to make amends, while Nadja and Nandor deal with the shapeshifters who have moved in next door.
March Madness
Laszlo and Nandor try to exorcise the demon who had possessed their neighbor Sean.
P.I. Undercover: New York
Colin and Nadja have a couples' night with an old friend, while Nandor and Laszlo battle the film crew that have invaded their neighborhood.
Come Out and Play
The vampires get blamed for a murder at a meeting of all the New York vampires and must find a way back to the safety of Staten Island.
The Promotion
The vampires go to an office party to celebrate Guillermo's promotion.
The Finale
A surprising twist leads to a change of plans.

Season 6 of What We Do in the Shadows feels disjointed and somewhat superfluous. There are various arcs throughout the season, but considering the show has already handled most of the character journeys, most of them feel kind of random. The show even pokes fun at this in its finale by highlighting what should have probably been the climactic finish at the end of the last season. The episodes are hit or miss, mostly leaning on the miss side, though there are still some fun episodes in this season. The finale is overall decent if not great. I think overall it's just a very lukewarm season that clearly reflects a show that went on past its prime.
One of the best seasons of the whole show, honestly. Extremely funny as always, and I loved the depth they added to just about all the characters.
Probably the weakest season, just seemed directionless and unsure where to end the show. Not bad, just a bit disjointed and a worse hit rate than the previous seasons.
