It was a great story! The very first episode will definitely catch your interest. After the first few episodes it became a little slow though. Not much content was there so 12 episodes show was fine. Looking forward to the movie now.
Found this show pretty overrated TBH, don't really know why everyone was preaching about it so much. It was ok, but definitely not the best thing that I've seen - Berserk was far better for example.
Fantastic and surprisingly feel-good show. Yes, that last part might be hard to imagine after the first episode but just stick with it.
All the adjectives I want to use to describe this sound like I'm describing Batman....gritty & visceral....with an MC of few words. Reviewers definitely aren't kidding about the first episode of this show, punches you right in the mouth. There are some pacing issues, and the growth of the MC is a bit too slow for my taste...his evolution into a normal person is very very slow... I normally prefer my MC's OP, but that's definitely not this MC. Some cool side characters and a great story make this extremely well-rounded. Just great, I'm here for more...
