A desperate Aang visits Avatar Roku for help on his journey as the Fire Nation closes in on him. At their fortress, a masked intruder breaks Aang out.
The North
As an attack on the Northern Water Tribe looms, Katara challenges a master Waterbender, Sokka meets a princess, and Aang takes Kuruk's words to heart.
Legends
Zhao leads the Fire Nation into the North with a bold plan to weaken the Water Tribe. When the battle takes a dark turn, Aang enters a powerful state.

A decent effort, but they lost the spirit of the original imo. Zuko and Iroh definitely came out the best of the characters.
This is absolute perfection from Netflix and Nickelodeon. This is what the winx saga should’ve been. Accurate! Love appa and momo! They’re so cute! I binged watched the whole season of this with my boyfriend. I want more and it needs more seasons! I haven’t been this excited for a series on Netflix since they aired chilling adventures with Sabrina. Please Netflix, do more!♡
An absolute chore to get through, i'm usually pretty good at negating the cringe to appreciate the rest of the material but this series is just too much cringe, I nearly died of it. Awful casting choices all around the board, none of them can say a single line or even throw a look at something/someone without looking like idiots. The only slight exception being Gordon Cormier as Aang, he almost has it but could have used a bit more acting coaching before entering the role. It's a shame because he certainly has the looks, the energy, and the body language to play Aang. They changed so much of the storyline, skipped stuff, delayed stuff, rushed stuff... and that's normal because they can change whatever the hell they want with the story to make something fresh but I think it's all poorly executed and those ideas make no sense to me. It was all over the place. A good comparison is the *One Piece* live action we got last year, far from perfect but they remained coherent with the changes to the story compared to this. The sets, special effects and costumes are the only redeeming qualities about this. Nothing special on a cinematography level and the action is poorly choreographed. Not everything needs a live action and this one should have been left alone.
Look, the dialogues are a bit clunky, the acting is melodramatic, it certainly doesn't have the best narrative pacing and structure and so many things could have been done differently to have a much bigger impact, yet I just can't help but love how close everything is visually to the original. Even the hairstyles of secondary characters! And the Lost reunion in the Fire Nation between Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Leung and Francois Chau is just awesome. But man oh man, they did our girl Azula dirty. She was the best character in the whole series (and probably one of the best characters in all of animated TV history), and somehow they removed everything that made her iconic, replacing her with an edgy spoiled little girl wanting to play at power. Such a shame that we are now robbed of all the great moments she would have given us in future seasons. If you guys are still up for a recast, I'm pretty sure Jeon Soyeon always has energy for new projects... ;)
It was overall nice i guess.. if we ignore the awful wigs (zukos scar too, literally cosplayers can do a better job) and some of the acting also not to mention how they portrayed katara.. what did they do to her character?? Zuko + Iroh carried this season
