An interesting premise, that while weak in areas, is an overall enjoyable romp. Season 1 had a bit of an issue with a lack of confidence in the vision and their ability to tell a story in a continuous fashion. It used Aaron Mahnkhe as the Narrator, who told bits of side history alongside the main story. In the second season, this was dropped, partly because of a stronger direction in the main story being told, but it did lose a bit of the charm, especially the additional context Mahnkhe was ale to provide. The first season felt like an exploration of why we tell stories, and how there is a common motif linking otherwise disparate stories (they tickle the same fears), while the second season is just a straight retelling of spooky or creepy stories from the past.

Excellent and very creepy. I'm totally freaked out watching this. This show will send you to Google to look up this very real people. Excellent production values and narration. That fact that these are true stores makes it even that much scarier. Don't watch this alone. Not for kids!!!

Great first season, they had an amazing atmosphere, akin to what I felt watching OG twilight zone But they butchered this with season 2. Word of advice, I season 1 and be done with it.

Take everything with a heavy grain of salt, but the little tidbits of confirmed history are extremely interesting. It will definitely have you going to look up the real story. Over all its well acted, has a fitting score for each episode, and is very well produced. The pacing is always sport on, it really draws you in.

I think I like this show, however some of the episodes are very boring. It has potential, I hope they cut the narrator / robot.
