I just binge-watched the whole season this evening and I can't imagine a better way to have spent my time. This show is FANTASTIC. It really is a rollercoaster of emotions in the best way possible. It's 100% a feel-good show and covers really, really important issues! It definitely differs from a lot of American sitcoms, it's raw, it's deep, its inclusive and it's very smart. It's a whole ton of fun. One Day at a Time is my biggest obsession right now & the best way to kick-start 2017.

I love how this show makes me laugh my ass off one minute and the next brings on a serious matter. This is one of the best shows I've ever seen

This show was a nice surprise, since I'm always distrustful of multi camera sitcoms. Even though the comedy (and performances) follows the rhythm one could expect, some jokes are very funny and there are very touching moments. Sometimes the show can get a bit too didactic with its morals, but overall it was refreshing to see an old formula bring sensitivity to discussions about sexism, immigration laws, PTSD and sexuality. As for the actors, Justina Machado shows she can handle a show like this and the kids show some promise but the real star is Rita Moreno. She is a great performer and responsible for all my biggest laughs - and even a few tears.

A pleasantly surprising show! Wasn't sure what to make of this when it was recommended to me by Netflix but I am loving it so far. Tackles some important issues from both the past and present, I'm not going to lie there are a few touching moments too that nearly made me cry! The show is a good laugh and has something for everybody. I would recommend it to anyone, brill casting all around. Rita Moreno (plays Lydia) is a goddamn national treasure. Hope Netflix renews this! Would love to see a follow up season.
