Welcome to a place where being normal is really quite strange. In a remote Texas town no one is who they seem. I was still hoping this show would renew...I really liked it! Makes me sad....
just finished midnight texas and I ended up giving it a 6, I felt 7 was a little too generous. The characters were interesting but the story felt rushed, the first couple of episodes were solid but it just slipped a little. The antagonists in the show were actually rather interesting its too bad they were all killed off so easily, it ended up just becoming monster of the week with a little over arching big boss for the last couple of episodes, and even then it wasn't exactly thrilling, I guess it was all just a little fluffy for my liking and would have preferred something with a little more grit. Still Midnight, Texas was an okay watch and at only 10 episodes you don't feel like your time is truly wasted, having read the books by Charlene Harris it was nice to see and adaptation and any fans of the book I am sure they will enjoy this one!
This show somehow fell through the cracks for me when it was on. Luckily I found it now. It was a pretty decent show. It's in the vein of Preacher and Wynona Earp but with a slightly bigger budget. Too bad it got canceled. One or 2 more seasons would have been nice.
Season 2 is much better than Season 1.
