This one started off pretty bad but progressively got better. The MC is extremely aloof with an idgaf attitude about what anyone else thinks about him. That's all well and good, but when you mix the fact that he's somehow extremely observant, yet at the same time oblivious about the way the women around him feel, it begins to feel ridiculous. The artwork is below average, but the animation is about average. When this begins to move away from the threat of the beetles, things get much better. Unfortunately, everything about the story is pretty easy to see coming....the villain, the romantic feelings, there isn't a single surprise. Definitely won't ever be rewatching this, but it was a decent enough story that I didn't feel like my time was completely wasted.
