When joining her ex-husband's hospital as a trainee nurse, Nina, who fails to go unnoticed, inadvertently stokes tensions within the department.

Nina saves the life of a surgeon who she catches in the act with a student nurse. She covers for the young woman but in doing so, she ends up looking like the mistress.

When her father is urgently taken to hospital, Nina puts on her white coat to stay at his bedside and finds herself looking after a man accused of domestic violence.

Nina becomes attached to a patient who Dr Proust has developed a casual attitude towards. Léo, her adviser and housemate, becomes fond of a very religious patient.

When the department is overwhelmed by a flu epidemic, Nina crosses paths with an old friend. Léo looks after a diabetic patient who has passed out on his wedding day.

Nina confronts Dr Proust about a patient who has come to spend his final days in hospital, away from his mother. The pediatrics department is concerned over a potential case of meningitis.

Nina and Léo bring a young woman to the hospital who has just given birth in the street and her baby is in a bad way. An incident disrupts the internal medicine unit.

At the end of her training, Nina fears the worst from Dr Proust. Meanwhile, Lily has issues starting her job shadowing and Léo is under pressure.
