I really wish this series leaned more into the idea of how labeling people as villains make them villains to begin with. It feels cowardly to end this series with the inherently broken hero system being maintained, as if the "villains" weren't entirely correct that the hero system as a whole needed to go. Nothing was learned or gained, it feels like just another villain was defeated but with more city damage this time. It's not all bad, though. I really liked the scene where the woman who once didn't bother helping Shimura rectified her mistake by helping a kid who could have become another Shigaraki. I really wish more of this could have been shown. And the animation is amazing, of course. It just hurts seeing how much potential this had for a really interesting and unique message being thrown away to not risk losing the status quo.
Definitely more of My Hero Academia. If you've seen the first 7 seasons I would say you know what to expect.
Every single episode made my eye balls cry like a newborn baby, happy to see this amazing anime finished with the best ending ever.
