Control is an illusion.
A young programmer, Elliot, suffers from a debilitating anti-social disorder and decides that he can only connect to people by hacking them. He wields his skills as a weapon to protect the people that he cares about. Elliot finds himself in the intersection between a cybersecurity firm he works for and the underworld organizations that are recruiting him to bring down corporate America.

easily at the top 3 best shows of decade! there is a lot to say about this show, but if you have not seen it yet. I have only envy at you. so if you are reading these words, go now and embrace this amazing experience.
I did not expect such a brilliant first episode... What an intricate and nuanced representation of hacking life! Beyond this, the writing, and the acting are exceptional. It's also nice to see Christian Slater... he was a staple from my youth when I started messing with computers and learning how to code. This first episode was a very pleasant surprise... really was better than most of the crap out here, and I, in general, abhor the bulk of television on offer. This show looks more meaningful somehow.
As someone who works in IT, this show is amazing! There are almost no flaws to find.
The sheer amount of attention to details in this show is staggering! This is a masterpiece in the making. 'Mr. Robot' is topical when it needs to be, but timeless in its critique of the human behavior.
