Beautifully designed and masterfully shot. With every frame animated to perfection. Plays around the concept of death, the afterlife in a very interesting and meaningful way that ultimately helps it convey various memorable characters in its episodic nature.
Really nice anime, and very different from the usual scenarios.

After their death two people are lead to the bar "Quindecim", where the barkeeper waits for new customers. The both people that stand on the ferge of death need to compete in a typical bar-game, to decide which of them gets reborn and who dies. Death Parade disappointed me. I expected a lot from the anime based on recommendations, but the story is beyond boring. The only highlight is actually just seeing in there who now wins a game and is reborn. Otherwise, for the most part, the anime is absolutely to die for. The characters are also boringly written and don't stick in the memory. Had potential, but wasted it pretty quickly.
