Marvin Marvin, a bumbling alien eagerly and somewhat clumsily attempts to adapt to life as a human teenager.

After Marvin consoles a racehorse at the track, the horse escapes the racetrack and follows Marvin home hoping to become Marvin's pet.

The Forman's family dinner night gets canceled and Marvin ends up overindulging in chocolate. However, this results in Marvin getting an alien toothache which brings the family together just when they need it the most.

Teri and Briana plot revenge on a boy who seems to have asked both of them out on a date. Meanwhile, Marvin learns what an 'expiration date' means and that the term doesn't mean the same thing to people as it does to old food.

When Marvin needs some extra money to buy his dream bike, Teri gets him a job working with her at Burger on a Bun, but things get out of hand after Marvin starts taking the job a little too seriously and he ends up firing Teri.

Marvin starts hanging out with the popular kids and has to decide if they really have the best intentions for him while Teri obsesses over the unknown writer of the notebook she found at school.

Marvin and Henry anxiously await the premiere of the newest scary movie, but Liz tells them the movie is off limits. When the boys see it anyway, they learn their lesson when the horrors of the screen start to come to life.

When Teri's only way to go out with her dream guy is a double date, she reluctantly takes Marvin with her. Meanwhile, Bob tries to prepare the family for a possible attack by Klerg agents.

Marvin has dreams of being famous, or at least winning a trophy, and after learning about his school's Battle of the Bands competition he recruits a class of second graders to help him rock and roll.
