The first half, or maybe even the first two thirds, was very strong: The characters were likeable and I loved the fluff, angst, and new twist to PP. But the final half/third was more or less disappointing and dull. Characters I used to love became predictable and annoying, and though it might also be related to the fandom -which, even more than the show itself, has one awesome half and another one that is.. not awesome- I feel like the writers tried a little too hard (or not enough) to make the ending work. There are obviously a hundred amazing things about TLBD, but the final episodes did leave a bitter aftertaste in my mouth.
