Not sure what I thought about it. This is a series based on books & a reboot of an older TV series. I have no experience with either of them. There are some really good elements, the costumes, the setting... Most of the actors are doing a good job. The shift between now & then is okay, but the bit in the now drags on a bit even though it's only on a short time span. But you don't feel like you know the characters, except Emma obviously. There is A LOT of drama. And some of it is needless + quite some unbelievable plot points which I will not spoil. I am not convinced I'm rooting for Emma as she does seem to have one track mind. So if you are a fan of costume soapy-kind things, this will be your bag.
