Pond and Phuwin show off a completely new side of their chemistry here, and it’s honestly just incredibly trippy and fun. It’s a parody of all those classic soap operas and it works so well—Pond is hilariously over-the-top while Phuwin’s subtle frustration is just spot on. Even with all the clichés and silly scenes, their gazes in the quiet moments are so intense. The show is packed with ridiculous moments, but it really works for a major feel-good boost. It gets a bit "cringe" at times, especially when leaning into the most dramatic tropes, but the connection between them makes it totally worth it. It’s great to see them not taking themselves too seriously while still keeping that spark. Even when the plot goes completely off the rails, the tension between them feels grounded and real.
