Quite enjoyable anime, but could've been better without the so forcefully pushed demonic trope bullsh*t

That was a lot of fun. I hope we get another season or two.. just another slice of life with an op mc who was kicked from a party and doesn’t know how strong he is.

I probably should have known better, given the title alludes to the anime trope I loathe the most....the oblivious male protagonist. I was just so fired up for the first fantasy anime of this season to finish airing, I didn't watch any trailers or anything, and just hopped right in. The MC is unaware....of everything....how strong he is, how fast he is, how skilled he is, how ingenious he is, and of course...women's feelings towards him....absolutely everything. It didn't really get old until about halfway through, then it just felt like an old and tired joke. Right at the very end they kind of allude to the MC's history and a mystery surrounding him which was a bit intriguing, but I'm sure it won't be enough to make me remember this one strongly. The artwork was just slightly below average, with the action sequences being solidly below average. They use some dirty tricks, like a still image with a background that gives the impression of movement, but isn't actually doing anything, then cut to the move already being completed....stuff like that. If they make more I'll watch it, but I'm sure I'll forget about it pretty quickly...
