[ARD] With insight and a certain awkward sense of humor, the story depicts the lives of two young queer people in Hamburg. The series thrives on creating misunderstandings and embarrassing situations, especially for its protagonist, which provide an ironic edge. But it also builds two characters who mature throughout the season, even if only to understand that clinging to the past is the worst way to live in the present. Tackling themes such as relationships, race and insecurity, it manages to be entertaining and relevant at the same time.
