I liked it originally, but the story dragged after episode 13, and I gave up after episode 15.
Sort of the Chinese "Rugal" (https://trakt.tv/shows/rugal): You won't take your eyes off it. Nothing makes sense. Plot holes and production absurdity abounds. While it's more of a B-tier drama, it feels some budgets are way too big, like the characters changing costume several times a day (in one later episode, it feels they're just trying on ridiculous suits to see if they would work in other shows). The script is imbalanced as well, with a ballooned up [spoiler]'palace life'[/spoiler] section of the show taking up about five times as much time as it should (similarly to in Who Rules The World). At the same time, in that overblown section, an essential scene is missing entirely: [spoiler]For several episodes, the ML secretly visits the FL under the nose of her "husband". He takes great care not to be spotted by her two loyal attendants. Suddenly, from one scene to the next, he walks past them like it's the most normal thing in the world and he belongs there.[/spoiler]
