If you watched I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class this winter season, this anime is nearly identical in overall quality and production—especially in pacing and the story’s outcome, which only develops in a meaningful way during the last two episodes. That’s nothing out of the ordinary for your typical 12-episode romcom. I’d say the Season 1 ending here is definitely a little better than the one in the anime I mentioned above, so I’d give it a slightly higher score—but not by much. It was still more of a time-killer than anything else, though it had its moments and some likable characters. The main girl could be annoying at times, but as the story progresses and we see her other side, it gets better. If I had to point out the biggest difference between the two anime, it would be the constant presence of fanservice—which you can judge for yourself whether you enjoy. The comedic aspect at least gave me a few chuckles. It’s very doubtful we’ll ever get a second season, but if we do, it could definitely improve based on how things ended. EDIT: Right after finishing last episode and writing this review, I noticed that they indeed announced season 2 right away, so I would recommend giving it a shot and waiting for a second season.
