Amazing show !!! Love the Humor, Love the Love and Love the Story. I didn't see the original. Stop putting bad ratings because it's a remake, without watching it first.

Laid (2024) - ❤x3 OHH EMM GEE!!! The Ruby character is a horrible, selfish, self-absorbed, annoying situationally blind person. And soooo not in a fun way. Most of the show is just a constant blathering between the two female leads - just horrible, mindless and insipidly boring chatter. Maybe this is the type of comedy that Gen-A and Gen-Z enjoy - but it is definitely not for me. The first episode was horrible and I almost quit watching it, but it got marginally better in later episodes.After finding out that this is a remake of an Australian show of the same name - I had to go check it out. The Australian version made me laugh in the first few minutes unlike the entire first season of the American version. My recommendation is to skip this and go watch the original Australian version Laid (2011) on FreeVee. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!

A remake of the funny Australian series "Laid" (ABC, 2011-2012) that had an absurd and surprising approach, which actually served to reflect on the stereotypes of female sexuality. But the American version fails to be as entertaining as the original due to a mediocre script and a lead actress who tries as hard as she fails in her attempt to be funny. The worst thing is that the main reflection that the series makes is that the protagonist has an active sexual life only because she is really looking for the man of her life.
