In a blue-collar community where the high stress of working in a refinery is balanced by the comedic high-wire antics of its plant workers, The Trades centres around pipefitter Todd and his sister and roommate, Audrey, who follows in her big brother’s footsteps pursuing a career in the trades as a carpenter, just like their father Rod.

It's not Trailer Park Boys, but it is still worth a watch. [spoiler] Except for the actual welding and use of tools, when actors often are just fiddling with random bits of metal, that are clearly not well part of the scene or logical.[/spoiler]
This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the least funny "comedy" I've ever seen. And I've seen Watching Ellie.
March 20, 2026 season three episode one
I love Trailer Park Boys and silky comedy but this is god awful. I forced myself to complete season 1 hoping it would get better. Now we are in season 2 and it’s 10 times worse. Show is not only stupid but it’s not even funny
