An absolutely incredible, poignant, and worthwhile documentary.

I have been alive for most (not all!) of the period covered by this series and so old enough to remember a lot of it actually as it happened. The conclusion is that the world has never been safe since the invention of the atomic bomb and we, the human race, have survived to this point more by good luck than good judgment. I recommend it as essential viewing for students of recent history and for those who want to know just how the hell we got to here. It also makes me fearful for the future of my grandchildren.
